Toddlers Room

This very homely room caters for the children who have outgrown the baby room but are not quite ready for preschool. The children are taught to eat independently and use their cutlery correctly.

There are plenty of natural, open-ended resources in this room to inspire the children to become curious. The children become more creative in this room and work more independently whilst doing art and craft and dressing up in real clothes is also very popular. The children make lots of discoveries whilst they investigate with real resources in the role play area. The children in this room have open access to their own outdoor area and go for lots of walks in the surrounding area. The children will spend some time in the preschool room to make the transition into this room easier.

We only have good things to say about Corwen Day Nursery.  From the moment we looked around we felt all the staff were very welcoming.  Our toddler has only been going for a few weeks and we have seen a complete change in her ability to play with others and her speech.  The staff update us throughout the day and let us know exactly how the day has been at pick up.  So glad we have found this nursery – Thanks for all that you are doing.
